La Salle College Macroom
Students' Council
The school has operated a Student Council since 1994. This is elected from amongst the 5th and 6th Year students. The council is involved in several aspects of school life, and serves as a liaison between the staff and the student body. As well as this, the Council helps with the organisation of several school activities, such as charity events, table tennis leagues and the production of a school newsletter.
New Student Council members travel to the De La Salle brothers headquarters in Castletown in County Laois to participate in a leadership course.
