De La Salle College Macroom
Bordeaux Exchange
An exchange program has been in place for several years between De La Salle Macroom and a sister school in Bordeaux, France. Participating students (from non-exam classes) spend two weeks with host families in Bordeaux, learning about French culture and improving their understanding of the language. A return visit is then made by French students to Macroom.
This year is the tenth anniversary of the exchange and the milestone will be marked with special celebrations.
